Speaker Bios:

Robert Fuxa brings 38 years of experience in Oklahoma’s workers’ compensation industry, beginning his career in claims management where he spent 13 years as an adjuster and team leader. In 2000, he transitioned into healthcare marketing and business development focused on the workers’ compensation sector. He is the founder of KUDZU Consulting, where he partners with occupational medicine providers, insurers, healthcare organizations, and law firms to support growth and strategy within the workers’ compensation market.


Robert “Robbie” Powell is a seasoned Oklahoma attorney with extensive experience in litigation and workers’ compensation defense. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University School of Law, he began his career representing clients across a broad range of legal matters before focusing on workers’ compensation defense. He has served as both associate and partner at a respected defense firm and currently represents employers and insurance carriers ranging from small businesses to large organizations.




To promote workers’ compensation best practices and help recruit and educate the next generation of Workers’ Compensation professionals.
